Description

Responsibilities:

• Take on the responsibility for technical excellence in one or more specialized areas

• Effectively manage multiple clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of their respective businesses

• Lead client meetings for strategic planning and implementation

• Act as a representative for clients in dealings with tax authorities

• Review tax returns to ensure compliance quality and provide coaching to staff for improvement

• Monitor the progress of engagements for assigned clients in relation to budgets and deadlines

• Serve as a representative of the firm in the community, cultivating relationships with both new and existing clients

• Provide training and guidance to staff on emerging tax developments; review and assess their work

• Foster the development of skills in staff and peers through effective communication and teaching

• Fulfill other duties as necessary and assigned

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Possession of a CPA designation

• Holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

• More than 6 years of accounting experience

• Over 5 years of experience in a public accounting firm

• Demonstrated 1+ year of progressive supervisory roles

• Proficient in directing team members and working effectively under pressure

• Expertise in tax matters pertaining to businesses, individuals, and estate planning

Expectations:

• Supervise and coordinate the schedules of other team members

• Understand and accommodate overtime requirements during busy periods.
