Description Attention all Human Resources Managers. Robert Half is working with a growing client to a hire a new Human Resources Manager. The HR Manager is responsible for overseeing personnel and daily operations of the human resources department. Key responsibilities
Investigate compensation standards set by industry and governing bodies in order to create salary structures and administer employee benefits
Institute management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
Organize exit interviews and procedures
Monitor and implement applicable human resource federal and state requirements, conduct investigations, maintain records, and represent the organization at hearings
Supervise all HR activities, communications, reports, requests and documents created and received by the team
Inform employees such that they follow all policies and procedures
Participate in interdepartmental meetings with other managers
Grow the organization's human resources department by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and human resources policies, programs, and practices
Establish recruitment plans, interview schedules and evaluation standards in accordance with HR methodologies and labor laws
Evaluate reports provided by the HR team, team leaders and operations managers to determine employee performance and training needs
Organize historical human resource records by designing a filing and retrieval system and keeping past and current records
Oversee human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees Requirements - Adept to problem-solving and conflict resolution
Broad knowledge of HR policies, benefits administration, compensation and wage structure
Knowledge of HR software and strong familiarity of MS Office
Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing
Bachelor's degree in human resources or similar field
Ability to view issues objectively
Thorough when handling confidential business matters and information with discretion
Exemplary ethics, integrity, and standards
PHR/SPHR or other relevant certifications are preferred
An understanding of the key principles of employment law and EEOC regulations
1+ years of supervisory experience within human resources
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
5+ years in human resources
