Description We are offering a role in the manufacturing / distribution industry, based in San Bernardino, California. The primary function of this role will be to handle inventory transactions, perform monthly cycle counts, and reconcile bank accounts. The candidate will also be tasked with backing up Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions. This is a permanent opportunity with hybrid flexibility.

Responsibilities:

• Handle inventory transactions accurately and efficiently • Conduct monthly cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy • Work closely with the AR team to clear any discrepancies • Reconcile bank accounts regularly to ensure financial accuracy • Assist with payroll journal entries and manage payroll bank accounts • Participate in the monthly closing process, ensuring all financial data is accurate • Back up AP and AR functions as needed, ensuring continuity of operations • Utilize a variety of software and systems, including Oracle and NetSuite, to perform duties • Prepare and post journal entries to the general ledger • Assist in annual inventory processes and procedures. Requirements • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Staff Accountant role or similar • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) • Experience with Bank Reconciliations • Strong understanding of General Ledger processes • Ability to perform Journal Entries accurately • Experience with Month End Close procedures • Knowledge of NetSuite and Oracle software • Experience in performing Annual Inventory • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel • Ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
