Robert Half Account Coordinator in San Diego, California

Description

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Coordinator to support their sales and customer service teams. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to manage multiple client accounts efficiently. This role is critical in maintaining client satisfaction and ensuring the smooth operation of account management activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts, ensuring timely and effective communication.

  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, quotes, and contracts for clients.

  • Coordinate and schedule service appointments, ensuring timely delivery and completion.

  • Manage and update client information in the CRM system, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

  • Track and follow up on pending proposals, quotes, and contracts.

  • Handle client inquiries and resolve issues promptly, escalating complex matters to the appropriate department as necessary.

  • Collaborate with the sales and service teams to ensure client needs are met and exceeded.

  • Prepare and distribute regular reports on account activities and performance metrics.

  • Support the sales team with administrative tasks, such as data entry and document preparation.

  • Assist in the planning and execution of client meetings and events.

    Requirements

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred.

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an account management, customer service, or sales support role.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and CRM software.

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.

  • Excellent customer service skills with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.

  • Experience in the HVAC industry is a plus but not required.
