Description
We are seeking a dynamic, professional Accounting Clerk to handle various accounting functions in our client's San Diego,CA headquarters.
Responsibilities:
Assistance in daily accounting tasks
Record and verify financial transactions, ensuring their accuracy, completeness, and compliance with established policies and procedures.
Monitor all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate Generally Accepted Accounting Standards and regulatory requirements.
Process accounts payables and receivables as needed.
Prepare bank deposits and bank reconciliations.
Maintain documentation in an organized manner.
Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and reports.
Provide general administrative support as needed.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related area.
1-2 years of experience in an accounting role preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with advanced knowledge of Excel.
Knowledge of QuickBooks or related software.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail, organization, and multitasking abilities.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
