Robert Half Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager in San Diego, California
Description We are offering a contract for an Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager position in San Diego, California. The selected individual will support the Controller in executing strategic plans, operations, policies, and procedures and will lead a team of an Accounts Payable Accountant and Accounting Assistant. The primary industry for this role is Accounting and Financial Services.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the full cycle of accounts payable activities, ensuring all financial obligations are met in a timely manner.
• Coordinate and review the processing of vendor invoices and expense requests, ensuring accuracy.
• Supervise the bank's positive pay system to maintain a well-balanced financial status.
• Review outstanding checks, void as necessary, and setup new vendors to maintain an accurate and efficient system.
• Prepare annual 1099's for required vendors, ensuring legal compliance.
• Oversee the monthly reconciliation of the agency credit card for accurate financial reporting.
• Assist with the maintenance of Financial Edge NXT software system to ensure optimal performance.
• Manage logs for all agency gift cards, ensuring accurate tracking.
• Oversee the storage of financial records for easy retrieval and referencing.
• Handle the administrative office keys, ensuring the security of the office premises. Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounts Payable Supervisor/Manager role or similar
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Demonstrable skills in Data Processing
• Proficient in ERP Solutions
• Thorough understanding of Accounting Functions
• Strong experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP)
• Experience in Check Processing
• Ability to handle and resolve Discrepancy issues
• Proficient in Expense Reporting
• Experience in using Financial Edge software
