Job Description:
As a Bilingual Spanish-Speaking Receptionist, you will be a crucial part of our team, serving as the first point of contact for visitors, donors, and community members. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to our mission, excellent communication skills in both English and Spanish, and a welcoming demeanor.
Responsibilities:
Greet and welcome visitors, clients, and donors with enthusiasm and professionalism.
Answer and manage incoming calls, providing information and directing calls as needed.
Assist with general administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and managing correspondence.
Translate written and verbal communications between English and Spanish.
Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure effective communication.
Assist with organizing and coordinating events and meetings.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Fluency in English and Spanish (both written and spoken).
Previous experience as a receptionist or in a customer-facing role.
Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude.
Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Passion for the mission and values of the nonprofit sector.
