BioTech Contracts Manager

Robert Half has an immediate role for a Contracts Manager with a client in the Health Pharm/Biotech field. This role will be a vital position under the general counsel where effort is rewarded. The Contracts Manager will look after vendor and subcontracts agreement, draft contracts, and manage and re-negotiate contracts as needed. Contracts Manager / Paralegal Role

• Provide overall support in contract administration functions for the coordination and oversight of requirements for compliance with the contract terms and conditions, along with relaying information to internal departments

• Red-line documents as required for compliance and review external clients' contract terms to align with Company's risk tolerance

• File and maintain contracts database

• Research and draft legal agreements (vendor agreements, NDAs, evaluation agreements)

• Consult on and outsource contracts

• Generate contractual provisions and administer contract proposals

• Administer the complete life cycle of the Company's contracts (from initial request to final signature and contract distribution)

• Uphold and organize contract templates; obtain signatures on contracts

• Improve and manage contract repositories

• Correlate to internal and external requests on status of contracts

  Requirements

Contracts Manager / Paralegal Role Required Skillset

• 2 years to 10+ Years experience with Contract Management in the BioTech Field

• Demonstrated knowledge of Contract Renewals

• Clinical Trial Operations experience

• Adeptness in Contract Negotiations

• Deep understanding of Clinical Trial Operations

• Comprehensive knowledge of Biotech

• General familiarity with Contract Terms

• Applicant must be familiar with word processing, spreadsheets and presentation software, as well as databases and customer database systems

• Ability to thrive in a high-paced environment, requiring exceptional organizational skills, juggling client matters, and adhering to strict deadlines

• Maintain a high job performance in a fast-paced environment

• Professional in handling confidential business matters and information with discretion

• Very organized in order to track and monitor contracts for future obligations, expiration dates and other contractual deadlines

• Skilled in working cross functionally across teams and gaining favor of key decision makers
