Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in the manufacturing industry, based in San Diego, California. The role involves managing financial audits, overseeing sub-ledgers, and handling treasury duties in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This position is integral to the financial operations of our business, and we require someone who can manage both high-level responsibilities and hands-on tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the asset side of the balance sheet, including fixed assets, inventory, accounts receivable, and cash management

• Lead and manage annual financial audits, directly dealing with auditors

• Manage sub-ledgers (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory, Fixed Assets) as well as General Ledger

• Oversee banking and treasury operations, including working with bankers on lockboxes, managing access setups, and credit card programs

• Implement best practices for financial internal controls, such as signing authorities, credit card programs, purchasing, and expense reports

• Develop and maintain Excel financial models for various financial scenarios

• Oversee budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure financial stability and growth

• Produce comprehensive financial reports, ensuring all data and information is accurate and up-to-date

• Leverage skills in various accounting software systems and enterprise resource planning tools to streamline and enhance financial operations

• Conduct auditing processes to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. Requirements • Must have at least 7 years of experience in a similar role within the manufacturing industry

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is necessary

• Familiarity with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning and ERP Solutions is expected

• Must be able to handle all Accounting Functions

• Knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is crucial

• Auditing skills are necessary for this role

• Must have experience with Budget Processes

• It is necessary to have a valid work authorization.
