Description
John Asdell with Robert Half is partnered with a national consumer electronics company in the video game industry. The company is looking to bring on a Junior Financial Analyst to work directly with the senior financial leaders in support of critical financial reporting deliverables. This is an excellent growth opportunity for a staff level FPA professional to grow their tool kit and learn under an established director and CFO. This Financial Analyst will have the opportunity to interface regularly with the CFO regarding their findings in variance analysis and product profitability analysis. Responsibilities:
Evaluating current and previous financial data.
Preparing reports and projections based on this analysis.
Assisting with financial models and analyze them to support strategic initiatives.
Support budgeting and forecasting efforts.
Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
Participate in cost analysis and rate studies as required.
Calculate and report and departmental and corporate KPIs
Requirements
Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting from a reputable university.
0-3 years of relative work experience in financial analysis, accounting or a related field.
Familiarity with financial planning, reporting and analysis procedures.
Strong MS Excel skills including demonstrated experience with INDEX MATCH, SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, and VLOOKUPS
