Robert Half Financial Analyst in San Diego, California

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst in San Diego, California. As a part of our team, you will be expected to perform complex financial analysis, operational analysis, and financial forecasting. You will be tasked with identifying financial trends and opportunities, maintaining customer credit records, and providing actionable insights from financial data.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze, organize, and draw insights from financial data to identify problems and opportunities.

• Perform complex financial and operational analysis to support strategic plans and operating budgets.

• Evaluate data, prepare forecasts, analyze trends, and present results.

• Develop and manage finance process targets (key performance indicators/metrics) and provide regular updates and analysis.

• Carry out financial analysis at multiple complexity levels, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and dashboards.

• Assist in market research, data mining, and business intelligence to increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.

• Monitor cash inflows and outflows on projects and report cash flow issues to operations.

• Prepare assigned duties for joint venture projects, including the preparation of financials.

• Cultivate strong relationships with internal leadership and project teams.

• Reconcile transactions by comparing and correcting data, and ensure accurate financial reporting.

• Follow cost analysis process by enforcing policies and procedures, providing trends and forecasts, and explaining processes and techniques. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 1 year of experience in a Financial Analyst role or similar position.

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a must.

• Knowledge and experience with ADP - Financial Services will be highly advantageous.

• Understanding and experience with CRM systems is required.

• Familiarity with Crystal Reports is highly desirable.

• Should possess strong skills in Data Mining Techniques.

• Must be capable of performing Accounting Functions effectively.

• Knowledge and experience in Accrual Accounting is beneficial.

• Auditing skills are highly desirable.

• Experience in Budget Processes is a requirement.

• Knowledge of Capital Management is a must.
