Robert Half GRC Analyst in San Diego, California

Description We are offering an exciting opportunity in San Diego, California for a GRC Analyst in the mortgage industry. This role involves several activities related to our company's Information Technology Risk, Governance, Crisis Management, Business Continuity, and Incident Response functions. The GRC Analyst will be instrumental in managing risk, ensuring business continuity, and responding to incidents effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate risk identification, analysis, and remediation processes to ensure the stability of our IT operations.

• Assist with the intake process for Technology Product Team, transforming risks, control deficiencies, and process improvements into workable scope for project managers and SDLC execution.

• Collaborate with IT Risk Manager, Risk Owners, and Internal Stakeholders to identify and implement remediation options.

• Support and prepare materials for Risk Committee and IT Steering Committee meetings.

• Develop and maintain information security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines.

• Conduct business impact analysis and disaster recovery planning to ensure business continuity.

• Provide support and expertise during live disaster recovery events.

• Produce deliverables such as process flows, procedure documentation, reports, dashboards, gap analysis, and written communications.

• Develop key indicators to measure performance and risk for management and executive audiences.

• Stay updated with trends, tools, and changes related to GRC Analyst field.

• Interpret government regulations and applicable codes to ensure compliance.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support IT GRC Team operations. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a GRC Analyst role within the mortgage industry

• Proficiency in Apache Spark and Atlassian Jira

• Familiarity with BusinessObjects Technologies and Erwin Data

• Ability to conduct Gap Analysis and AB Testing

• Experience in Agile Scrum methodology

• Strong analytics skills and experience in Business Intelligence (BI)

• Proven ability to create Business Requirement Documents

• Prior experience with Smartsheet

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field is preferred

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
