Description

They are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Assistant to support the Human Resources department in delivering excellent service to employees and ensuring efficient HR operations.
The HR Assistant will be responsible for supporting the HR team in a variety of administrative and operational tasks, including record-keeping, employee onboarding, and benefits coordination. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow their career in human resources while contributing to a dynamic and people-focused team.
Key Responsibilities:
Administrative Support: Assist with maintaining employee records, filing documents, and updating HR databases.
Onboarding Coordination: Support the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing documentation, scheduling orientations, and conducting initial HR briefings.
Benefits Assistance: Assist employees with benefits enrollment and address basic inquiries related to health, retirement, and wellness programs.
Recruitment Support: Post job openings, screen resumes, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
Compliance: Ensure employee documentation complies with federal, state, and company regulations.
Employee Relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and escalate issues to HR leadership when necessary.
Event Coordination: Help plan and execute employee engagement activities, such as training sessions and company events.
Special Projects: Assist with ad hoc projects, including policy updates, HR metrics reporting, and process improvements.
Requirements
1-3 years of experience in an administrative or HR role; prior HR experience is preferred.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR software systems (e.g., Workday, ADP, or similar).
Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
