Description We are hiring for the role of HR Director in San Diego, California. This role focuses on overseeing all functions within the human resources department, ensuring compliance with wage regulations, and fostering a culture of safety, equity, and engagement. You will be expected to implement policies and practices that support the recruitment, retention, and development of a high-performing workforce.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee all human resources functions within the company, ensuring compliance with prevailing wage regulations
• Implement policies and practices that support the recruitment, retention, and development of a high-performing workforce
• Ensure all employee wages align with prevailing wage standards for relevant projects, especially those subject to federal and state wage laws
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate reporting and adherence to wage regulations
• Partner with the payroll team to monitor compliance and ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Provide training for HR and project management teams on prevailing wage requirements
• Conduct regular audits of payroll records and timesheets to maintain compliance
• Support diversity and inclusion initiatives to attract a diverse talent pool
• Mediate employee relations and resolve disputes, ensuring a positive work environment
• Develop compensation packages, benefits programs, and incentive plans that are competitive and compliant
• Regularly review market trends to ensure competitive wage and benefits offerings
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and other health and safety regulations
• Collaborate with management to ensure workplace safety and training programs are up-to-date and effective. Requirements • Must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a HR Director role or similar position.
• Proficient in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now.
• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode.
• Experience with HCM and HRMS is necessary.
• Knowledge of Benefit Functions and Compliance is required.
• Excellent Communication skills are essential.
• Should be able to effectively interact with C-Suite individuals.
• Proven track record in handling Employee Relations.
