Description

We are seeking a dedicated and versatile HR Generalist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a variety of human resources functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management. Responsibilities:

Recruitment and Onboarding:

  • Coordinate the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, screening, interviewing, and hiring.

  • Conduct new hire orientations and ensure a smooth onboarding process for all new employees.

  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and provide recruitment support.

Employee Relations:

  • Serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.

  • Address and resolve employee relations issues, including conducting investigations and recommending appropriate actions.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture through employee engagement initiatives and programs.

Benefits Administration:

  • Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.

  • Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries.

  • Coordinate annual open enrollment and ensure compliance with benefits regulations.

Performance Management:

  • Support the performance review process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and development plans.

  • Provide coaching and guidance to managers and employees on performance-related matters.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of employee training and development programs.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.

  • Prepare and submit required reports, such as EEO-1, VETS-4212, and others as needed.

Policy and Procedure Development:

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.

  • Ensure HR policies are consistently applied and updated as necessary.

HR Projects and Initiatives:

  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives, such as employee surveys, wellness programs, and diversity and inclusion efforts.

  • Collaborate with HR team members to continuously improve HR processes and programs.

    Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.

  • Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and HRIS systems.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
