The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HR practices and employee management, with the ability to handle various HR tasks and projects. This role requires excellent communication skills, a high level of professionalism, and a thorough understanding of HR policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
Assist with the recruitment process, including posting job openings, screening candidates, conducting interviews, and coordinating onboarding activities
Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS system
Provide guidance and support to employees on HR-related inquiries, policies, and procedures
Coordinate and conduct new hire orientations and training sessions
Assist with performance management processes, including goal setting, evaluations, and feedback
Support employee relations initiatives, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations
Participate in HR projects and initiatives to support organizational goals
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar role, preferably in the tech industry
Strong knowledge of HR principles, practices, and procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and HRIS software
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) preferred but not required
