Description
A renowned property management and real estate firm located downtown is urgently seeking a Junior Staff Accountant with proven experience in high volume Accounts Payable. This crucial role involves managing Accounts Payable for multiple locations and properties. You'll be expected to be proficient in the Yardi system (or similar) and have strong skills in Excel and account reconciliation.
Handling high-volume Accounts Payable for a multitude of locations and properties.
Carrying out reconciliation tasks efficiently.
Inputting and maintaining financial data in Yardi or a similar system.
Assisting the team in monthly and annual closing processes.
Working closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven prior experience in a similar role, ideally in real estate or property management.
Solid experience with Yardi or similar property management accounting system.
High proficiency in Excel.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
