Robert Half Payroll Specialist in San Diego, California
You will be assisting with processing payroll for 1000+ employees, with the ability to expand your payroll processing knowledge and skillset.
This is an in-office, long-term opportunity with a wonderful organization.
What you'll be doing:
• Assists in auditing and processing semi-monthly payroll.
• Assists in maintaining the HRIS system for payroll-related employee changes including:
o electronic timesheet components
o direct deposit changes
o tax withholdings changes
• Processing accounts payable invoices related to benefits:
o Updating benefits tracking spreadsheets
o Reconciling employee’s benefits deductions
High school diploma, or associates degree
Previous experience managing timesheets, assisting with payroll, or maintaining HRIS system for payroll related employee changes
Previous experience with payroll processing system such as Sage
Understanding of California labor laws, payroll taxes, related accounting knowledge
2+ years of payroll processing or support experience required
