Description
We are partnering with a large organization to find an experienced Senior Payroll Specialist with UKG experience. This key role is responsible for managing payroll operations for over 1,000 employees, ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, compliance with regulations, and delivering exceptional service to internal stakeholders. This position is contract or contract-to-hire, offering a unique opportunity to make a significant impact within a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the end-to-end payroll process for 1,000+ employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Utilize UKG software for payroll processing, reporting, and data management.
Manage payroll discrepancies, resolve issues, and respond to employee inquiries related to payroll.
Ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll-related deductions, such as taxes, benefits, and garnishments.
Prepare and maintain payroll reports, including payroll summaries, labor distribution, and compliance reports.
Collaborate with HR and finance departments to ensure seamless payroll integration and reporting.
Stay updated on payroll regulations and best practices, implementing changes as necessary.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or in a similar role, with a focus on UKG software (required).
Strong understanding of payroll regulations and compliance requirements.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
