Robert Half International Sr. Financial Analyst in San Diego, California

Our client in the entertainment industry is seeking their Sr. Financial Analyst. The Sr. Financial Analyst will be responsible for various financial planning, analysis and reporting activities. This role will gather disparate data from various data sources; analyze and normalize to ensure data integrity for analysis; provide consistent, relevant and accurate data as well as guidance/knowledge of the data and definitions that are available for analysis. Responsibilities: ? Preparation of the Company's consolidated budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans for Executive Management ? Meet with Executive team members and review monthly results versus Plan and prior year ? Balance Sheet and income statement analyses to Plan, forecasts and prior years ? Analyzes, reports, makes comparisons to industry/company benchmarks, determines trends, and prepares cost analyses. ? Prepare customer and product profitability reports for the Executive team ? Prepares spreadsheets for data analysis; prepare reports with charts and graphs and ad hoc requests. ? Provides recommendations based on findings and analysis. Provides input on policies and procedures. ? Assist with the preparation of internal executive financial statements ? Involvement in preparation and review of the earnings press releases, earnings conference call scripts and board meeting presentations. ? Compile and analyze financial information to review and participate in month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities. ? Support external audit requests ? Run various business scenarios in the company?s integrated financial model and present results

Requirements: Education/Experience/Skills: ? Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance ?
