Robert Half Staff Accountant in San Diego, California
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant in San Diego, California. The prospective candidate will be part of a dynamic team and will be responsible for a range of accounting related tasks. The role involves general ledger account reconciliations, assisting with various audits, maintaining inventory data, and providing support on various accounting projects.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee general ledger account reconciliations including bank and credit card reconciliation
• Provide support in conducting 401k plan audits, Workers Comp and Liability insurance audits, and quarterly CPA audits
• Ensure accurate and timely Quarterly/Annual Payroll Tax Filings
• Maintain inventory data for annual Property Business Tax Filings
• Aid in labor compliance for prevailing wage and union projects
• Offer assistance in Payroll and Accounts Payable as needed
• Participate in various accounting projects and initiatives
• Utilize skills in Accounts Payable (AP), Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, Journal Entries, Month End Close, Sage 300, Payroll Tax Returns, Payroll Taxes, and Audit
• Uphold the highest standards of accuracy and efficiency in all tasks. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) operations
• Demonstrable experience with Bank Reconciliations
• Proficient understanding of General Ledger management
• Ability to accurately process Journal Entries
• Experience in handling Month End Close procedures
• Practical knowledge of Sage 300
• Experience in managing Payroll Tax Returns
• Understanding of Payroll Taxes procedures
• Capable of supporting Audit processes
