Robert Half Accounts Payable Accountant in San Francisco, California

Description We are offering an exciting contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounts Payable Accountant in San Francisco, California. This role is centered around managing and maintaining accounts payable records in the finance industry. As an Accounts Payable Accountant, you will be working closely with other finance professionals, ensuring the accurate processing of invoices, and efficiently handling client expenses.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage incoming invoices and coordinate with the finance team for appropriate action.

• Prioritize accounts payable as a significant aspect of your role.

• Ensure detailed and accurate entry of invoices and conduct regular check runs.

• Perform credit card reconciliations for various stakeholders using software such as QuickBooks Pro.

• Take a proactive approach in identifying and addressing potential issues.

• Conduct month-end reconciliations of credit card statements and accounts payable.

• Handle account reconciliation, data entry, and invoice processing tasks.

• Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), Data Entry, Invoice Processing, Microsoft Excel, QuickBooks Pro, Credit Card Reconciliation, Month End Close, and Check Runs.

• Exhibit a proactive approach in identifying and addressing potential issues.

• Assist with Month End Close activities and perform Check Runs as needed. Requirements • Possesses a minimum of one year of experience in an accounts payable role

• Demonstrates proficiency in account reconciliation and accounts payable (AP)

• Shows competency in data entry and invoice processing tasks

• Has experience using Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks Pro for accounting tasks

• Exhibits skills in credit card reconciliation and month-end close procedures

• Has the ability to conduct check runs accurately and efficiently

• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Demonstrates strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Shows ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Has a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
