Responsibilities:

  • Review ledgers, journal entries, valuations, and accruals; handle month, quarter, and year-end closes, reconciliations, and flux analysis.

  • Assist with financial reporting packages, fund financials, presentations, and LP reporting.

  • Manage partnership accounting, capital account reconciliation, statement preparation, and tax workpapers; analyze Fund-of-Fund capital statements.

  • Document and maintain accounting policies, processes, and controls; improve and automate procedures.

  • Prepare LP capital calls and distributions.

  • Support cash management, treasury functions, and budget tracking.

  • Aid in quarterly and annual reporting, consolidation, tax returns, and compliance filings.

  • Collaborate on projects, system improvements, technical accounting, and U.S. GAAP application; assist with month-end, quarterly, and year-end reporting.

    Requirements

  • 6+ years of financial services experience

  • Public/private mix experience with Venture Capital experience.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field

  • CPA or CPA candidate with solid knowledge of U.S. GAAP and fair value accounting

  • Proficient in G-Suite and Excel

  • Detail-oriented with strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills

  • Highly accurate, organized, and excellent in time management

  • Team player with a strong work ethic

  • Ability to work off-hours as needed
