Description
This role involves representing high-stakes cases, including representing an large organization as an entity in matters related to labor and employment, constitutional law, and other areas that involve representing the organization as a business.
Responsibilities:
Litigate complex cases with a focus on labor, employment, and constitutional law.
Handle dispositive motions, discovery, and case strategy development.
Provide high-level representation for organizational clients, particularly in high-stakes matters.
Conduct legal research and draft high-quality pleadings, motions, and briefs.
Collaborate with other attorneys and staff to effectively manage casework.
Requirements
Requirements:
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school and membership in the California State Bar.
3-5 years of substantive litigation experience, including experience with dispositive motions, discovery, and high-level legal writing.
Strong understanding of constitutional law and labor and employment matters.
Demonstrated ability to handle high-stakes cases and provide strategic legal counsel.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills (writing sample required).
