Description

Robert Half is currently looking for a linguistic expert fluent in German located in the bay area/San Francisco area to join the AI technology solutions provider-of-choice to 4 out of 5 of the world’s biggest technology companies.

This is the role that writers and linguists dream about: you’ll be teaching the next generation of Large Language Models about what makes language special. Our client is leading the industry in training generative AI in how to think, not just how to write.

Position Details:

Start Date: October 4, 2024 (Urgent hire)

Hours: Full-time, permanent employee for our client

Salary: $80,000/year & FTE benefits

Location: US Remote work

Education and Abilities:

  • Post-Graduate degree or PhD in Writing, English, or Linguistics

  • Native German speaker

  • Tier 3 linguist

  • Excellent writing skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication

  • Strong understanding of language, from grammar to semantics and beyond

  • Ability to edit and improve communication across a wide variety of fields.

  • Creative thinker

  • Attentive to detail

  • Well-honed internet research skills

Requirements

• Applicant must possess a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Proven experience as an Auditing Clerk in the Information Technology industry is desirable.

• Proficiency in legal writing is mandatory.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.

• Must have a thorough understanding of auditing and control practices.

• Knowledge of IT systems, databases, and networks is essential.

• Familiarity with relevant legal and regulatory standards is required.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills are necessary.

• Must demonstrate a high level of integrity and professional ethics.

• Proficiency in using auditing software and other relevant computer applications is expected.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Must be detail-oriented and possess strong organizational skills.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

• Strong understanding of data analysis and forecasting models.
