Robert Half Billing Specialist in San Francisco, California
Description We are in search of a meticulous Billing Specialist to join our team. Located in San Francisco, California, the role is a short term contract employment opportunity within the hospitality industry. The Billing Specialist will play a vital role in maintaining the accuracy and efficiency of our accounting operations.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee Accounts Receivable (AR) processes such as invoicing, collections, and customer account reconciliation.
• Post payments to the Property Management System (Opera).
• Provide support in month-end closing procedures, which includes making journal entries and reconciling accounts.
• Field billing inquiries and deliver excellent customer service to clients.
• Process daily cash receipts for bank submission.
• Assist with miscellaneous accounting tasks as required. Requirements
• Minimum of two years of experience in a similar role as a Billing Specialist
• Proficiency in handling Billing duties and responsibilities
• Experience in performing Month-end Close Activities is necessary
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proven problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency in using computer software and applications related to billing
• Ability to understand and adhere to all billing policies and procedures
• Must have experience using Opera system
