Description

We are in search of a Jr. Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our team in San Francisco, California. Your role will be crucial in the processing and management of immigration-related data and documents for our clients. You will also be involved in drafting and maintaining legal documents and correspondence, ensuring that all information is accurate and up-to-date.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and completion of visa petitions and applications on behalf of clients

• Maintain and update confidential client contact information

• Draft correspondence such as emails and letters to clients, ensuring all communication is clear and professional

• Compile and summarize data on the status of cases and generate reports

• Use your skills in Microsoft Excel and Data Entry to manage and organize data efficiently

• Draft legal documents detailing eligibility, utilizing your knowledge in Political Science and Criminal Justice

• Assist in handling Employment-Based Immigration cases

• Ensure all client information is treated with utmost confidentiality and discretion.

Requirements • Proven experience in data entry

• Knowledge of political science and its application in the field of immigration

• Understanding of criminal justice principles relevant to immigration

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and presentation

• Familiarity with visa application processes and visa petitions

• Prior experience in employment-based immigration procedures

• Ability to interpret and apply immigration laws and regulations

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High attention to detail and accuracy in work output

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
