Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, and fund administrators.

  • Supervise fund accounting, tax, portfolio valuation, financial and investor reporting, and capital transactions to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

  • Process invoices and manage intercompany reconciliations.

  • Oversee cash management, including monitoring balances, capital needs, investment funding, and reserve management.

  • Support new fund launches, fundraising efforts, and address investor inquiries.

  • Coordinate periodic KPI reporting from portfolio companies for internal and external needs.

  • Monitor portfolio company updates and recommend valuation adjustments.

  • Oversee contract signing, draft quarterly investor communications, and facilitate related documentation.

  • Assist with select HR tasks, including onboarding/offboarding, compliance, and benefits administration during open enrollment.

  • Continuously review and update process documentation to enhance operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of fund accounting experience, ideally from a venture capital or private equity background with exposure to valuation.

  • Proficiency in Excel, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.

  • A strategic thinker who is resourceful, proactive, and eager to find innovative solutions.

  • Ambitious with a keen entrepreneurial mindset and solid business acumen.
