Robert Half Accountemps is seeking a candidate with a thorough understanding of finance and strong communication skills for a Financial Analyst role. An exciting Nonprofit with a thriving team has a job opening. Responsibilities will be comprised of conducting financial modeling on various financial products as well as measuring, analyzing, and forecasting performance in conjunction with operating plans, advising management on the allocation of resources to best accomplish objectives, and preparing reports for management. This Financial Analyst role, which is located in the Davie, Florida, is a full-time employment opportunity. Your responsibilities

A local non for profit is seeking a data/business analyst. This role will be responsible for data mining/management of donations. The ideal candidate will have 3 + years of experience filtering and sorting data using Excel and a robust CRM system. This role will be responsible for providing imperative information regarding donor trends and works closely with the finance department.   • Track monthly and quarterly performance through comparison of actuals versus expectations and enable business partners to handle their resources

  • Drive P&L forecasting and Area/Segment-level Bookings on a weekly, quarterly and annual basis

  • Work with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning & Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization

  • Compile and supervise forecasting reports

  • Understand and be able to explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending

  • Propel monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions necessary

  • Collaborate with the Accounting team on the monthly and quarterly financial close process

  • Ensure plans are properly executed by working with cross-functional partners in Accounting and Operations

  • Analyze performance to date and assess potential risks and opportunities

  • Provide valuable foresight and decision support through effective Business Intelligence (BI)

  • The ideal candidate should be a highly flexible individual who is comfortable with large amounts of information and adept at managing expectations

Requirements

  • Skilled in the construction and delivery of effective presentations to audiences with wide-ranging backgrounds

  • Active problem-solver who listens for customer cues and actively resolves problems with grace and integrity

  • Spreadsheet and ERP system experience is ideal, but not required

  • Skill with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required

  • BA/BS degree in finance or a related field

  • Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing

  • Experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)

  • Financial planning & analysis (go-to-market experience suggested)

  • Data Analysis Tools experience

  • Strong familiarity with CRM

  • Data Analysis experience desired

  • Adeptness in analysis

  • Razors Edge experience

  • Donor Database experience highly desired

  • 3+ years of experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
