Description Robert Half is currently working with a client seeking a FP& A Manager. The FP& A Manager must be able to multitask and work under multiple tight deadlines at once, as well as excellent analytical capabilities and strong verbal and writing skills. This role is perfect for an experienced FP& A Manager looking for a challenging role at an established company.
Your responsibilities in this role
Provide key financial analysis to inform both day-to-day and strategic decisions
Aid with financial deliverables for the executive team
Develop operating budget and forecasts by estimating the costs and benefits of operating plans during the annual budget development cycle
Produce key financial analysis to support strategic and day-to-day decisions
Engage with staff by recruiting, selecting, training, evaluating, and retaining employees
Oversee and manage financial planning team operations
Participate in and contribute to cross-functional development teams to address strategic issues
Examine fiscal and budget assumptions in the development of operating plans
Analyze financials for the forecasting and corporate budgeting processes
Arrange financial models and data mining tools for variance analysis
Provide support for regulatory filings
Perform financial analysis and valuation related to mergers and acquisitions
Direct and lead financial analysis and developing short- and long-term financial forecasts Requirements - High level of business acumen
Excellent quantitative and qualitative abilities
Excellent communication skills with ability to build relationships
Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills
2+ years of FP& A supervisory/leadership experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or a related field is required
8+ years of experience in FP& A required
Advanced knowledge of computer software, including writing macros in Excel, Access, financial Modeling and other accounting packages
Capable of analyzing complex business problems, proposing effective solutions and understanding and applying business vision and direction
MBA, CPA, CFA, or other relevant certifications are a plus
