Our client is a boutique multifamily office that helps entrepreneurs utilize their wealth and plan for their next big move. The firm provides a variety of investment resources as well as access to alternative investments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounting & Financial Reporting:

• Support the Controller with diverse accounting tasks and financial reporting duties.

• Oversee the accuracy of work done by fund administrators.

• Manage and update general ledgers, ensuring timely and precise entries.

• Handle capital calls, oversee bill payments, and monitor account balances.

• Review, reconcile, and file monthly bank/brokerage statements, including online documents and tax-related paperwork.

• Conduct quality control and oversee tasks completed by external service providers.

• Compile financial statements and assist with tax filing preparations.

• Client Service & Relationship Management:

• Aid the VP of Operations in client service activities, maintaining relationships across platforms like Fidelity.

• Design and implement tailored onboarding experiences for high-net-worth clients.

• Prepare and manage client subscription and redemption documents and oversee billing processes.

• Respond to client inquiries regarding fund transactions, ensuring prompt and accurate responses.

• Work closely with internal teams to refine client interactions and streamline service delivery.

• Operational Support & Projects:

• Contribute to operational projects and perform ad-hoc administrative tasks as required.

• Help enhance operational efficiencies and client services.

• Monitor bank accounts to ensure sufficient liquidity for fund operations.

• Coordinate and manage multiple tasks, adhering to deadlines while maintaining accuracy and quality.

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience in the financial services sector, including Wealth Management, Private Equity, Hedge Funds, or Venture Capital.

• In-depth knowledge of fund accounting and operations, familiar with capital calls, distributions, and handling subscription documents.

• Proficiency in using accounting software and familiarity with custodial platforms such as Addepar and Fidelity is preferred.

• Commitment to delivering exceptional service to high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the capability to work autonomously.

• Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing several tasks and priorities concurrently.

• Effective communication skills and a collaborative spirit, able to build positive relationships with a variety of stakeholders.

• Curious and adaptable, ready to tackle a variety of tasks in a dynamic environment.

• Maintains a high level of discretion and is skilled at managing confidential information.
