Responsibilities:
Support the monthly NAV process, including investor allocations, waterfall calculations, management fees, performance metrics, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation.
Collaborate with fund administrators, auditors, and valuation agents to ensure compliance with financial statements, tax coordination, and cash management procedures.
Assist with administrative tasks such as vendor payments and wire transfers while maintaining accounting controls and supporting the CFO/Controller in daily operations.
Oversee trading operations, including margin calls, derivative trades, ISDA reporting, and private investment deal closings.
Manage investor relations, handling capital calls, distributions, subscriptions, reconciliations, and reporting, while updating CRM data and investor materials.
Assist with regulatory compliance filings and provide necessary documentation for audits and compliance testing.
Requirements
3+ years of fund accounting experience (including fund administration or public accounting), with a preference for hedge fund experience.
Familiarity with financial instruments, fund vehicles, and alternative investments.
CPA certification is a plus.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and proficiency in Excel.
Excellent communication skills with a keen attention to detail and organizational abilities.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Team player who can also work independently.
