Robert Half International Medical Office Manager in San Francisco, California

Description

Robert Half Healthcare is seeking a well versed full-time Office Manager for one of our clients in San Francisco. Prior billing, reception and management experience is required for this position. This well-established practice is led by a nationally recognized psychiatrist in the field of treatment resistant depression and interventional psychiatry. RESPONCIBILITIES:

  • Ability to learn programs such as: EMR, insurance websites, phone system, credit card processing and other related programs.

  • Opening, processing and distributing incoming mail.

  • Prepare, distribute and respond to all office correspondence.

  • Create and respond to emails from patients, doctors and insurance/billing companies.

  • Answer the phone and make phone calls to patients, doctors and insurance/billing companies.

  • Scheduling appointments.

  • Assist patients as they check in for their appointments.

  • New patient registration.

  • Conducts prior authorization and assists with processing charges and payments.

Requirements

  • 2 Year minimum experience in medical office experience.

  • Proficiency in both Word and Excel.

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting with minimal supervision.

  • The ability to multitask and work well under pressure as well as being accurate.

  • Familiar with different types of medical insurances.

  • Experience with Practice Management and Electronic Healthcare Records.
