Robert Half Office Manager in San Francisco, California

Description

We are seeking a diligent and versatile Office Manager to join our team in San Francisco, California. As an integral part of the team, your role will encompass managing the office, coordinating with vendors, and overseeing various ad hoc projects. This role is a short-term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the management of the office, ensuring smooth operations

• Handle office communications efficiently and effectively

• Coordinate the management of facilities and maintain office aesthetics

• Manage vendors, mail, and packages

• Order and maintain necessary office supplies

• Monitor and manage the calendar for vendors and visitors

• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the office kitchen and conference rooms

• Coordinate the management of office meals: set up and clean up breakfast, lunch, and dinner

• Utilize Google Suite and Slack for various tasks

• Leverage experience with workplace operations and office management to improve processes

• Think critically to solve problems and improve office operations.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office Suites, and Microsoft Outlook

• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services

• Demonstrated capability in managing accounting functions

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to manage billing functions

• Excellent customer service skills

• Proven track record as an Office Manager or similar role

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving skills and initiative

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy

• Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks effectively

• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to supervise and guide team members

• Willingness to continue learning and improving skills.
