Description
Mid-sized law firm located in the Financial District in San Francisco is seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal to join their team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including but not limited to:
Providing assistance to attorneys throughout all stages of litigation cases
Managing case-related tasks such as calendaring deadlines, scheduling appointments, and arranging meetings and depositions
Drafting and preparing litigation documents with meticulous attention to detail
Ensuring legal documents adhere to prescribed citation standards
Conducting factual investigations and legal research as required
Preparing for depositions, hearings, and trials by organizing exhibits and relevant materials
Assisting with case discovery, including document management and review
Handling the filing and service of legal documents, both electronically and in hard copy format
Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation paralegal supporting multiple attorneys and cases
Experience drafting TOAs and TOCs
Experience with Cite Checking
Exceptional organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency in MS Word and familiarity with legal research databases
Previous experience working with e-filing systems and knowledge of court rules
Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Paralegal certification or equivalent qualification
Proficiency in MS Outlook Suite and Adobe Acrobat
Ability to maintain client confidentiality and follow guidelines
Proactive attitude and ability to adapt to new programs and updates
Professional demeanor and appearance
