Join a mission-driven company making a real impact! Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Administrator to lead payroll operations, reporting directly to the VP of HR. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, multi-state payroll experience, and Dayforce proficiency. This role has tons of remote flexibility.
Responsibilities:
Process multi-state payroll, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance.
Audit employee data and timesheets, collaborating with HR and managers.
Oversee post-payroll processes, including vendor payments and documentation.
Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies.
Manage payroll tax filings and year-end activities (W-2s, ACA compliance).
Provide payroll reporting and analytics.
Serve as SME for payroll and time modules within HRIS.
Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance.
Collaborate with vendors on system improvements.
Implement payroll process enhancements.
Support HR duties and complete compliance training.

Requirements
3+ years leading Payroll in Dayforce (Ceridian) - no exceptions
Expertise in Dayforce (Ceridian)
Experience with multi-state and large, complex payroll environments
Strong communication and professionalism in handling payroll inquiries
HR, Payroll, HRIS, or software implementation education/certification a plus
Business process improvement/change management experience a bonus
