Description We have an urgent need for an experienced and motivated Payroll Manager to join our team in the San Francisco, California area. Are you talented at customer relations? What you get to do every day
Produce internal safeguards by overseeing record keeping and control systems
Work to make current processes better by recommending, leading, and working on various projects
Keep a watchful eye on internal and external audits
Develop all weekly, monthly, and special compensation payroll runs. Understand pay policies (LOA, disability, worker's compensation, vacation, bonus, etc.) and make sure amounts/deductions are precisely applied to various earnings codes in compliance with all local, state, and federal laws
Partner with other areas in Finance, as well as Human Resources, Tax, IT, and other departments as necessary for reporting, compliance and strategic analysis
Ensure senior executives and cross-functional business leaders are up to date by presenting accurate information and answering any questions
Handle payroll staff as well as operations
Manage and complete payroll analysis
Recruit and retain a team, as well as motivate it to success
Develop ideas with fellow members of senior Finance leadership team
Handle pre- and post-payroll auditing/reconciling procedures and troubleshoot anomalies Requirements - Less than one year of experience is acceptable
Certified Payroll Profession (CPP) certification urged
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Skilled in payroll-related cloud-based technology solutions
Strong interpersonal skills are a huge plus for this position
Able to work with a vast variety of payroll applications
ADP - Payroll experience
