Position: People Ops. Manager (Contract)
Location: San Francisco, CA (Hybrid: 4 days on-site/1 day remote)
Duration: 3-6 months contract (Possible C2H)
Robert Half Consulting Services is seeking a People Ops. Manager for a client in tech located in Brisbane, California. The HR Manager will be tasked with overseeing HR functions, developing strategies for internal talent promotion, and maintaining relationships with external law firms. This role also involves managing employee relations, analyzing HR data, and supporting recruitment efforts.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee HR operations for a large team, with a focus on talent development and promotion.
• Develop and implement HR processes for improved efficiency and performance.
• Manage employee relations, including performance management and conducting exit interviews.
• Maintain relationships with external law firms and ensure HR compliance with laws.
• Write and maintain internal policies, create templates and processes for managers, and conduct HR investigations.
• Analyze HR data to inform decision-making and prepare reports for stakeholders using various tools.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and legal requirements, and collaborate with legal counsel on HR-related matters.
• Support and drive recruitment efforts to attract and retain top talent across departments.
• Understand job responsibilities, develop recruiter pitches, set metrics for recruiters, conduct salary analyses, and communicate HR policies.
• Exhibit proficiency in skills such as Compensation Administration, Compliance, Employee Relations, Benefits Administration, HR Compliance, HR Policy, Human Resources (HR) Administration, Labor Law, Performance Management, and Recruiting.
Requirements • Proven experience in Human Resources Management
• Proficient in Compensation Administration
• Knowledge of Compliance procedures
• Experience in Employee Relations
• Familiarity with Benefits Administration
• Strong understanding of HR Compliance and HR Policy
• Experience in Human Resources (HR) Administration
• Knowledge of Labor Law
• Experience in Performance Management
• Proven track record in Recruiting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Proficient in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
