Our client, a leading private equity firm based in California, is at the forefront of high-growth technology and related sectors. As an SEC-registered investment adviser managing billions in assets, they provide specialized capital and expertise to help companies achieve global prominence. Responsibilities:
Oversee tax compliance for private equity funds and the management company.
Ensure timely filing of federal, state, and local tax returns, FATCA/CRS reports, 1099s, sales tax, and other required submissions with external providers.
Manage investor tax certificates and coordinate with banking institutions.
Handle quarterly estimated tax payments and address tax notices as needed.
Assist with tax communications while reviewing allocations, adjustments, and distributions.
Monitor tax provisions specified in fund agreements.
Support tax planning initiatives for management companies.
Collaborate with deal teams on global structuring and holding company formations.
Implement tax policies and improve processes through automation.

Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting is preferred; CPA designation is a plus.
6+ years of accounting experience, particularly in private equity and venture capital.
In-depth understanding of investment management, Subchapter K partnership, and international tax compliance.
Experience with international investment tax is highly desirable.
Strong leadership skills and excellent interpersonal abilities.
