Robert Half Project Manager in San Francisco, California

Description

We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Project Manager. This role is primarily focused on managing client relationships and internal team coordination within the technology industry. The Project Manager will act as a liaison between the team and stakeholders, ensuring projects are managed effectively and meet the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

• Attend and contribute to client meetings, identifying key action points

• Coordinate tasks in project management tools for various team members including developers, writers, and designers

• Proactively address issues and ensure all tasks are completed within deadlines

• Draft agendas for both internal and client meetings

• Monitor project progress and identify potential roadblocks or issues

• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth communication and project flow

• Assist in scheduling and coordinating important meetings, ensuring all participants are prepared

• Work closely with designers to deliver high-quality user experiences

• Contribute as a "web generalist" on both the client-facing and product management side

• Stay updated on security, accessibility standards, and compliance regulations

• Self-manage without requiring heavy supervision

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Manager or in a similar managerial role

• Proficiency in project management software tools, such as Asana

• Strong understanding and experience with Cloud Technologies

• Emotional intelligence to manage client and team interactions effectively.

• Familiar with web development (Drupal, React.js, Tailwind) and UX principles.

• Knowledge of information architecture and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2, 508 compliance).

• Work well with designers, developers, and other team members via tools like Slack

• Willingness to learn and adapt to established processes.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written

• Strong decision-making and leadership abilities

• Ability to solve complex problems under pressure

• Capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently

• Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience
