Description
We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Receptionist in the Hedge Fund industry, located in San Francisco, California. This role is crucial in ensuring smooth office operations and providing administrative support.
Responsibilities:
• Greet and direct visitors, manage inquiries, and provide general office support.
• Facilitate communication within the office, acting as a liaison between departments and individuals.
• Maintain an organized and efficient reception area, ensuring a detail oriented appearance and atmosphere.
• Assist in coordinating logistics for meetings, appointments, and events.
• Handle incoming calls, messages, and correspondence, directing them to the appropriate parties.
• Contribute to the administration and execution of various office projects.
• Ensure office supplies are adequately stocked and office equipment is in good working order.
• Manage schedules and calendars, coordinating appointments as necessary.
• Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive information.
• Uphold a high level of customer service, addressing customer needs and inquiries promptly and professionally.

Requirements • Experience in a receptionist role or similar position within the financial sector, preferably in a Hedge Fund environment.
• Proficiency in Administrative Assistance, with the ability to handle multiple administrative tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with all levels of staff and external stakeholders.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to maintain accurate records.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and integrity.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively, prioritizing tasks as necessary.
• A proactive approach to work, with the ability to anticipate needs and take initiative.
• Demonstrable customer service skills, with a detail oriented and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and embrace new ideas and approaches in the workplace.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; further education or qualifications in Business Administration or related field would be advantageous.
