Seeking a Residential Lending Specialist for a leading bay Area Bank. As a Loan Servicing Specialist, you will assist in the servicing of residential loans by performing various account maintenance and modification transactions.

What you'll do as a Residential Loan Servicing Specialist:

• Research customer account(s), loan history, and make necessary adjustments for specific loan modifications

• Accurately and efficiently, process financial and non-financial transactions to post to loan accounts

• Perform loan payment calculations and adjustments relating to loan modifications

• Ensure that all requested loan modifications are completed accurately and in a timely manner

• Work with internal business partners, at various levels, to research and resolve client loan issues

• Perform duties that aid in the processing of loan servicing documents, ensuring transactions are completed within compliance and internal guidelines; this will include data entry, reviewing documents, tracking, filing, and payment research, as it relates to modifications

• Perform data analysis and assist with the generation of operational reports to meet ongoing business requirements

• Perform duties and responsibilities specific to department functions and activities or as assigned by supervisor

What skills you will use:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

  • Loan servicing or loan processing/documentation experience is preferred

  • Must be able to successfully manage projects of a varied and complex nature

  • Must possess working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, notably MS Excel

  • Experience with residential loan origination and/or servicing systems a plus

  • Must possess strong analytical, process, and people skills

  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Must possess the ability to work proactively and operate accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment with variable deadlines

  • Must possess demonstrated organizational skills and a strong attention to detail

  • Must be able to provide extraordinary service and have fun!
