Description

We are seeking a Customer Experience Specialist in the retail industry, to be based in San Francisco, California. The position will primarily engage in a variety of tasks including retail sales, store inventory management, and customer service. The role offers a contract to hire employment opportunity and will require the candidate to work onsite.

Responsibilities:

• Assist customers in the store, providing knowledgeable and friendly service

• Manage and update store inventory, ensuring all products are adequately stocked and accurately accounted for

• Handle packaging and shipping processes for customer purchases

• Participate in the implementation of store promotions and sales strategies

• Maintain a professional demeanor while providing high-quality customer service

• Utilize various software applications for store operations, appointment scheduling, and email communication

• Contribute to maintaining a healthy, goal-driven, and familial environment in the workplace

• Participate in office maintenance tasks, including cleaning, when necessary

• Handle physical inventory items, including counting and packing/shipping products.

Requirements

• Possession of a minimum of 5 years of experience in a customer service or customer experience role

• Demonstrated proficiency in retail sales and store inventory management

• Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service

• Exemplary professional demeanor in all interactions

• Ability to handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

• Ability to work effectively within a team and independently

• Proficiency in using customer service software and databases

• Familiarity with industry's latest trends and best practices.
