Description
We are in search of an interim SEC Reporting Manager to assist our team based in San Francisco. As an SEC Reporting Manager, you will play a crucial role in financial reporting and management, with a focus on reviewing cash flow statements, liaising with auditors, and overseeing segment memos. This is a short term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the preparation and review of cash flow statements and reports
• Actively engage in the review of financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Handle correspondence and negotiations with auditors as part of the reporting process
• Manage segment memos with a detail-oriented approach for accurate record-keeping
• Utilize Workiva for efficient and effective SEC reporting
• Ensure all customer credit applications are processed accurately and efficiently
• Maintain precise customer credit records and monitor customer accounts regularly
• Address customer inquiries promptly and professionally
• Undertake appropriate action on customer accounts as required.
Requirements • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role or related field
• Proficiency in SEC Reporting
• Expertise in Technical Accounting
• Proficiency in using Workiva software
• Experience in preparing and analyzing Cash Flow Reports
• Capability to create and manage Cash Flow Statements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, a Master's degree is a plus
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and SEC regulations
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Proven leadership and team management abilities
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including advanced Excel skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
