Title: Senior Accountant
Location: San Francisco (Hybrid - 4 days onsite, 1 day remote)
Salary: $100-130k base + Bonus
About the Company: This San Francisco-based firm caters to seasoned entrepreneurs, helping to manage their wealth and strategize for their upcoming ventures. A growing wealth management entity, it has strong ties in the renowned tech-entrepreneurial region and operates both venture capital funds and a newly established hedge fund.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the Controller with various accounting-related tasks including reviewing the work of fund administrators, maintaining general ledgers, managing bill payments, and preparing financial reports.
Collaborate with the VP of Operations to manage client relationships across platforms, implement customized onboarding experiences for high-net-worth clients, and address client inquiries.
Support operational projects, streamline processes for efficiency, manage multiple tasks ensuring accuracy and quality, and monitor bank accounts for optimal liquidity.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
At least three years of accounting experience in financial services (e.g., Wealth Management, Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Venture Capital).
Understanding of fund accounting and operations, including capital calls, distributions, and subscription documents.
Experience with Addepar, Fidelity, or similar accounting software and custodial platforms.
Strong interpersonal skills and a passion for providing excellent customer service to high-net-worth clientele.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to think strategically and operate independently.
