A Sr. General Ledger Accountant is needed at a well-established San Francisco Manufacturing Company. They are in need of a Sr. General Ledger Accountant to assist with an unexpected vacancy in the office, and will only consider candidates with several years of staff or senior-level accounting experience for this role.
Sr. General Ledger Accountant Primary Job Duties:
Prepares and posts recurring journal entries in general accounting (rents for expatriates, car leases, office rent, etc.)
Analyses and checks accounting data acquired directly by general ledger, or coming from Accounts Payable
Posts accruals, accrued and deferred, every month/year-end
Reconciles assigned GL accounts and maintains supporting detail
Proposes adjustment journal entries and posts after approval
Sr. General Ledger Accountant Job Requirements:
Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance or related field
7+ years of staff or senior-level accounting experience
Excellent communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Works well independently and within a team
Software: SAP strongly preferred, Strong Excel
