A growing Professional Services company is in need of an efficient Senior Accountant to join their team on a full-time basis in the San Francisco, California area. As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for producing financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. This position offers you great long-term potential and a strong compensation and benefits package. We are looking for a candidate that possess excellent analytical skills and enjoys working in a challenging and fast-paced environment to support the successful growth of the firm. This Senior Accountant role is with a company in the Professional Services field and is located in San Francisco, California. Your responsibilities in this role - Prepare Balance Sheet account reconciliations - Participate in various department-wide initiatives - Produce error-free monthly accounting close procedures and deliverables such as journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP - Provide monthly consolidated P L and Balance Sheet flux analysis for management reporting - Dedication to continuously improve the automation of the accounting and reporting process - Contribute to coordinating quarterly reviews and SOX testing with internal and external auditors - Successfully collaborate with business partners to ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, controls and provide support on special requests when necessary - Review financial information such as trends, performance metrics, benchmarks, etc. and present analysis in a clear manner - Administer Ad-hoc projects as necessary
