Description Senior Tax Professional with expertise in indirect tax, VAT, tax compliance, and provisions to provide comprehensive tax guidance and support to our SaaS industry clients. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of tax regulations, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to effectively communicate complex tax concepts to clients and internal stakeholders.

Indirect Tax and VAT Compliance: Oversee and manage all aspects of indirect tax and VAT compliance for our SaaS industry clients, ensuring timely and accurate filing of tax returns and payments.

Tax Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize tax efficiency and minimize tax liabilities for clients operating in the SaaS sector.

Tax Provisions and Reporting: Assist clients in preparing tax provisions and financial statement disclosures in accordance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., ASC 740), ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Tax Audits and Disputes: Represent clients in tax audits and disputes, liaising with tax authorities and providing support throughout the audit process.

Research and Analysis: Stay abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations affecting the SaaS industry, conducting research and analysis to assess the impact on clients and provide proactive recommendations.

Collaboration and Leadership: Work closely with internal teams, including finance, legal, and compliance, to ensure alignment on tax matters and provide guidance on tax implications of business decisions. Mentor junior staff members and contribute to their professional development. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax preparation roles, with a focus on indirect tax, VAT, and tax compliance.

• Deep understanding of tax regulations and principles, particularly as they relate to the SaaS industry.

• Experience working with SaaS clients and large volume of work; familiarity with subscription-based revenue models and related tax implications.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex tax laws and regulations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively convey tax concepts to clients and internal stakeholders.

• Proven track record of delivering high-quality client service and building strong client relationships.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
