Our client is a San Francisco-based venture capital fund focused on building tech companies from the seed stage and beyond. They actively support founders with operational finance, strategy, and board development, guided by the visionary leadership of their family member CEO. Responsibilities:

• Maintain financial records for venture capital funds

• Oversee independent audits of multiple fund entities

• Handle tax matters related to all partnerships

• Maintain investment distribution waterfalls and carried interest allocations

• Work with third-party financial service providers

• Maintain all investment documentation

• Maintain General Ledger/ERP system

• Coordinate offshore special purpose vehicles' records

• Organize and process monthly receipts and expenses

• Prepare capital calls and prepare distribution calculations

• Oversee cash planning and revise expense allocation procedures

• Manage compliance with firm’s accounting procedures

  Requirements

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of venture capital or private equity experience, from a fund, fund administrator or public accounting

• Bachelors in Accounting or similar

• CPA required

• Hands on fund accounting experience

• Down to earth, team oriented
