Responsibilities:
Take charge of all fund accounting functions, including the preparation and review of financial statements, capital call statements, and distribution calculations.
Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders, enhancing transparency and trust.
Manage daily accounting operations across multiple funds, conducting ongoing reconciliations for optimal accuracy.
Collaborate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure regulatory compliance and efficient completion of audits and tax filings.
Enhance and maintain internal controls and accounting processes to drive efficiency and reliability.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
5+ years of accounting experience, specifically in fund accounting.
Experience in tax, audit, or venture capital is a valuable plus.
Deep understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration and relationships.
